Alcatraz Island, This is the view of Alcatraz from Fisherman's Wharf. A strong gale was blowing in under the Golden Gate from the ocean.	From the Air, This is the view of the Bay area from my arriving aircraft. The Golden Gate and Oakland Bridges are clearly visible, as is the Fisherman's Wharf area and Alcatraz Island.	Cable Car, I was surprised to find out that these trams were not electrically driven at all, but were hooked to a moving cable under the street. Like any visitor to the city, I rode the cable car from Fisherman's Wharf to the city and back.	Picture_007
